Sourced right here in the U.S., it’s 100% natural black volcanic stone—clean, chemical-free, and screened to a small 3/16" size that’s perfect for bonsai, succulents, cacti, and all kinds of potted plants. Naturally porous and lightweight, it helps regulate moisture by absorbing excess water and releasing it slowly—great for preventing root rot and giving plants the airflow their roots crave. Use it as a drainage layer, mix it into custom soil blends, or add it as a decorative top layer for a tidy, finished look. We pack each order by hand from our small family operation in sunny California, making sure it’s clean, consistent, and ready to use. Each box holds about 36 lbs of rock (packed in a resealable bag) and measures 18x12x6—easy to stock, ship, and sell.
