Whisky stout The Mash' is our bottled whiskey mash. The grain mixture used consists of barley malts roasted in varying degrees to extremely dark, fermented with top-fermented whiskey yeast. The color is dark brown, almost black and the scent opens up aromas of coffee and chocolate. Intensive roasted malt aromas appear on the palate. In terms of its style, The Mash is actually a stout beer. By bottling our mash, we want to give our customers the unique opportunity to experience all stages of whisky production with their own senses and to be able to understand how the 'red aroma thread' runs through every single production step. The development of the aromas that can ultimately be tasted in whiskey begins with the careful selection of the types of malt.
