OSCURE REGIONI is an editorial project in two volumes and 20 stories, one for each Italian region. Each region is dedicated to a horror story, which reinterprets a local folklore legend in a contemporary key. DARK REGIONS is a journey (in two volumes) to the dark side of the land of the sun and the sea: a country made of atrium woods, abandoned farms, populated by witches and monstrous creatures. An absolutely non-postcard Italy, where horror is just a step beyond the soothing veil of the daily routine... and the “slide into the Abyss” is surprisingly simple. N.B.: The stories in Volume 1 of OBSCURE REGIONS concern above all (but not exclusively) the southern regions and the islands; the stories in Volume 2 above all (but not exclusively) are the central and northern regions.
