How do I sell on Faire?
You can submit an application to join our marketplace as a seller.
Our team reviews each application in the order it's received. Please keep in mind that a variety of factors are considered when reviewing brand applications. For one, our team evaluates the supply/demand of the given product category as we need to ensure the marketplace is balanced for both our brands and retailers. We also look at a brand's location, type of product, number of SKUs, and their existing business (i.e. whether or not they do wholesale already, how established the brand is, social media presence, etc).How much does it cost to sell on Faire?
The total cost of selling on Faire is comprised of commission and payment processing fees that are applied to the order total. View more details on our Pricing page.
Your commission on an order is based on how the customer ordered from your Faire shop.
• For customers who discover you through Faire’s marketplace, you’ll pay 15% commission on all orders and an additional $10 new customer fee on opening orders.
• For any existing or prospective customers who order through your Faire Direct link, you’ll pay 0% commission.
A payment processing fee will also be applied to all your orders. The payment processing fee you pay is based on your selected payout speed.
How do order fulfillment and shipping work?
We have negotiated shipping rates, so all you have to do is print off pre-paid shipping labels, right from your portal. Or, if you prefer, you can ship on your own and we’ll reimburse you for the shipping costs.
How and when do I get paid?
When you start getting orders, you’ll set up the payment account and also select your payout speed—how fast you want to get paid out after you ship an order. Your selected payout speed determines your payment processing fee. You’ll pay more to get paid faster and less to get paid slower.
• Next-day payout: 3.5% + $0.30
• 30-day payout: 2.4% + $0.30
• 60-day payout: 1.9% + $0.30
After you ship your orders, we’ll deposit your payout in your account based on your selected payout speed. Note that your financial institution may need additional time to process your funds after they are deposited into your account.
Can I use Faire if I already have reps?
Yes! We work seamlessly alongside your team, and you can choose to block regions where you already have representation. Plus, we guarantee you 0% commission on all orders from existing accounts you and your reps have already gotten.
