Perles et Dentelles is a store specializing in items for people who are fighting cancer and mainly breast cancer. I offer lingerie, swimwear, chemo clothing, wigs and also care products adapted to fragile skin. But my main activity is the creation of chemo bonnets and turbans. In fact, hair loss (alopecia) is one of the most common side effects of chemotherapy treatments, and the one that women often fear the most. When people find themselves with their heads naked, they feel cold, and this stops circulation and therefore hair regrowth. This is very uncomfortable on a daily basis. So I decided to create chemo hats or turbans that ladies can use on a daily basis for their comfort but also to finish their outfits and feel beautiful every day even if illness and treatments make them weak.
