PREPARATION We always use seasonal fruit at the right level of ripeness. We choose the smallest figs, wash them, and remove the stem without peeling them, then cook them slowly, adding red wine and a little sugar. We bring the mixture to a boil and let it thicken (without using thickeners), bringing it to caramelization. PAIRINGS It was created as a sauce to accompany cheeses, but it can also be enjoyed on toast or bread. It's perfect on focaccia, for example, accompanied by prosciutto. It's also excellent for filling or decorating desserts and ice cream. EXPIRATION Preferably consume within 3 years from packaging. Once opened, store in the fridge for a maximum of 7 days.
