Nanã Burukú is the orixa of mangoes, of the swamp, lady of death responsible for the portals of entry (reincarnation) and exit (disincarnation) of souls. Identified in the Game of Búzios by the ejilobon odú and represented materially in the umbanda through the sacred settlement called Igba Nanã. Nanã together with Oxalá had 4 children, the orixás, Omolú/Obaluaiê, Oxumarê, Ewá and Ossaim. Nanã is the owner of a cajado, the ibiri. Her clothes look like they're bathed in blood, a standing water orixae that suddenly kills, she kills a goat without using a knife. Its threads are lilac and white or purple.
