Description
The iconic symbol of Beauty and the Beast has to be the single red rose beneath the glass cloche. For this bookmark the words "If he could learn to love another and earn her love in return by the time the last petal fell, then the spell would be broken. If not, he would be doomed to remain a beast for all time. As the years passed he fell into despair and lost all hope. For who could ever learn to love a beast?" wrap around a rose to resemble the cloche, all of which rests on a delicate table, a unique configuration of assorted letterpress cuts. Printed on Mohawk milkweed vellum with red, silver and black ink. Measures 2 1/2" x 6 7/8". Due to the nature of letterpress printing, each bookmark is unique. Subtle differences from the product pictured can be expected, but also add to the charm.
