Wholesale Superfine Alpaca Chunky

Our new chunky yarn, deliciously smooth and soft to knit with and wear. Using our British superfine alpaca this blend has a gorgeous soft handle with good loft that knits up beautifully. 75% British Superfine Alpaca blended with 25% Wool as a 3/3Nm yarn. This is a proven blend that offers increased resistance to shedding and pilling and adds loft and substance to the yarn. 50g (1.76ounce) ball gives 50m (54.7 yds) Tension Square typically 15stitches 18rows using 6mm needles for 10x10cm square. Ideal for all chunky patterns. Knitting & Crochet Packaged as 50g balls and supplied in packs of 10 (500g) For best results hand wash in lukewarm water and a specialist wool detergent. Hair conditioner in the final rinse will add extra softness. Do not rub. Gently squeeze out excess water before rolling in a towel. Re-shape and lay flat to dry. Modern machines with a delicate wash cycle can also be used if item is placed in a bag. 20-30degC spin 400rpm.
