The most experimental and fastest selling Pasotismo wine to date. A big part of the Pasotismo project is saying yes to new ideas and opportunities. In 2020, amongst a world of chaos, we were gifted the chance to work with Moristel. A grape that’s indigenous to Somontano but from a different planet to us as winemakers. It’s only grown in a few vineyards and we were getting one planted in 1976. It’s difficult to explain how exciting this was and given the backdrop of that year it was even more special. We set about the new grapes with our typical approach; taste every version currently available and use this information to make as many trials as possible to find its natural home. We never expected to bottle that vintage but it was a beacon of light in a bleak year and something truly unique. A light, bright, fresh-fruit bomb of a wine that is low in alcohol, high in character, unusual and site specific. A perfect addition to the Pasotismo project.
