Organic Way sources its certified organic Orange Peel Cut & Sifted direct from small-scale farm co-ops in Albania.  Though often thrown away, citrus peels have a high nutritional value and add a beautiful flavor to food. They brew a beautiful bright orange aromatic tea, which is more flavorful than regular tea. The peels can be used in the preparation of cookies, cakes and other sweets and desserts. Cut pieces of dried orange peels can be added to soups and stews and slow cooked with various meats. Store dried orange peels in an airtight jar and use it in meal preparations all through the year. Our cut and sifted orange peel means that the dried fruit is not sold in whole form, but rather "cut" into smaller pieces and then "sifted" to remove the small pieces and dust that result from the cutting process.
