These terrific shapes are made out of tightly spun cotton fiber which can be painted, glittered, and embellished. They are made by spinning cotton tissue on a lathe, forming it into various shapes. These dense “pressed paper” balls make great starters for vintage-style ornaments or decorations. Each ball has a single hole in one end. Spun cotton craft shapes work well with acrylic craft paints, can be adhered with white glue or hot glue, and can even be used as a form for polymer clay projects. It’s a versatile craft supply, made of all natural materials. The surface texture is similar to watercolor paper.
