This green tea can do more: The tea pearls, which have been traditionally handmade for over 100 years, also known as “dragon pearls”, develop a strikingly intense, yet well-balanced jasmine aroma. The tea is layered with fresh jasmine flowers during production. In the evening, the flowers open between the tea and transfer their aroma to the leaves, which is repeated several times. The tea is then rolled into small pearls by hand and dried. Rolling produces curved drawings in the beads, which originate from the interplay of the hairy and hairless parts of the still young leaves and buds and are reminiscent of small Chinese dragons.
