Mount Rainier glows in the late afternoon light, while a labrador retriever plunges into the water, playing fetch in the shadow of the hillside. This 9 x 12 print is a reproduction of the original letterpress piece from “Local Conditions," a 15-print limited-edition series depicting Washington’s Mt. Rainier from a variety of vantage points. The original artwork was letterpress printed by hand on an antique Vandercook No. 4 press and then hand-painted with watercolor.
