This is an original haori made in Kyoto. This piece won the grand prize at the Kyoto Haori Contest. Inspired by the drop sleeves that are popular in clothing, we have designed the sleeves of a kimono to resemble puff sleeves by making the drop shoulders lower than those of a regular haori. It was created in the style of a tweed jacket, inspired by the jackets of well-known European maison brands. You can coordinate it with both kimono and Western clothing. To dispel the heavy image of a haori and give it a lighter feel, the length is shorter than that of a regular haori, and it also expresses the elegance of an adult.
