Handwoven towel, coloured using a space dye technique. A traditional Indian craft using hand spun Khadi cotton,  finished with small twisted fringes. Khadi cotton is both hand-spun and hand-woven. It is made in Indian homes from cotton, silk or wool yarn spun on a wheel, or "charkha".  It is also very sustainable, few resources such as water or electricity are used to produce it, and the cloth is strong and durable, it's not a material you will use and wash and that will quickly deteriorate. In buying this product you are helping to preserve a valuable craft heritage, as well as contributing to the financial empowerment of skilled rural artisans. The material becomes softer and softer with time and washing.
