These Osmanthus White Tea mini cakes are from Spring 2019, it is certainly aging beautifully. Cakes are made of Fuding Dabai tea leaves blended with fresh, sweet and natural Osmanthus flower native to China. The Dabai tea trees varietal used are 10 years old and they grow in the Zhenghe (Fuding city) Tea Garden Amoy Teas cooperate with, at an altitude of 800 meters above sea level, soil here has a reddish-yellow colour, rich in minerals and organic nutrients.   These cakes are made following the traditional white tea processing: plucking - withering - drying - pressing to a cake. The white tea cake is a Shoumei grade with the adding of natural Osmanthus flower. Each tea cake is pressed in a 5-6 gr. cake which is very convenient to carry and brew.   The delicate of white tea is combined with the aroma, fragrance and natural sweetness of the Osmanthus flower. When steeped, its liquor is deep yellow and it has a light, smooth and floral and sweet flavour.
