In Oaxaca, Mexico it is believed that every person has a spirit guide, protectors and mischief guide which they call Alebrijes which means "imaginary" or "fantasy". These Alebrijes are hand carved and painted with exceptional painting designs. Great for gifts, as party favors, put on display or any occasion. They are a great idea for kids, since they are small enough for them to play with (just take off the small pieces from the alebrije beforehand).
