Virgen de las Viñas is based in the up-and-coming region of Castilla la-Mancha and was founded in 1961 when 15 families joined forces to build a better future by focusing on producing quality wines from the region. Since the 1990s, La- Mancha has undergone dramatic change, with significant investment in transforming the arid landscape of the Meseta- the high plateau south of Madrid. Virgen de las Viñas encompasses over 3,000 growers covering 25,000 hectares of prime vineyard, making it a leader in the vine-growing area of Castilla la-Mancha. In the winery, it combines traditional production methods with cutting edge technical innovations.
