There is zero artist representation in these! These are from the Green River Formation in Wyoming. The scientific name of these is Knightia eocaena, which comes from the Eocene Age and is approximately 48 million years old! Knightia was a freshwater fish, often living in schools in lakes and rivers. Some may be broken on part of the fossil display, but they are guaranteed to be at least 90% whole! Knightia is often found in the Green River Formation due to warming waters during that time and the species being sensitive to temperature changes and perishing in mass while schooling.
