Ajwa dates (also known as Acve Avali dates) grow in the Avali region of the city of Medina. It is often argued by many to be the best date variety in the region. It's also called the "Prophet date palm" among the local people where it is grown. The difference of the Acve Avali date from the already known acve date is that it's growth is limited to the regions between Masjid-i Kuba and Masjid an-Nabawi.
