SHOWDOWN is a double-deck card game with metallic foil highlights on the box and pm every card. Combos comes with 82 colorful playing cards plus 28 Combo cards and full-color rules in our custom SliderBox, and takes up only 2.5 sq in of your shelf space. Showdown is the bidding game where bluffing is perfectly OK, as long as you don’t get caught! Bid how may of a given number appear on the cards held by all players together. Next player must make a higher bid or Challenge yours. Stars count as the number bid. If the bid was too high, the Bidder loses a card. Otherwise, the Challenger loses. Try to guess other player’s hands by their bids, and bluffing can be quite effective (unless you get challenged!). Discard and draw cards to improve your hand. Think the last bid was exactly right? Call Showdown! If you’re right, you gain a card, everyone else loses one. Originally published as Bid It!, winner of Games Magazine’s “Games 100” award. 2-6 players, ages 8-adult.
