They are made by our production partners, Oporajeo – a workers’ initiative in Bangladesh set up by survivors of the Rana Plaza disaster. Oporajeo workers earn a living wage, in decent conditions and have democratic control of their work. Eco-Friendly: Oporajeo is a carbon neutral factory that offsets emissions with their own tree planting project. No Sweat Tote Bags are made from GOTS certified organic cotton, either natural or in black using azo-free dye, and a ETP water filtration system. Solidarity: Profits from the Tote Bags are used to fund No Sweat campaigns and put into a Garment Worker Solidarity Fund to support independent trade unions around the world organising in the garment industry.
