Description
Tomato sauce made with olives, capers, anchovies, and a pinch of chili pepper. This sauce is a typical sauce originating from the gulf of Naples. Spaghetti with puttanesca sauce is a classic. Awarded 1-star at Great Taste Awards: Judges commented "A vibrant sauce with even sized pieces of tomato and olives. A delicious no added sugar sauce" Coppola Sugo Puttanesca is made with Italian tomatoes, no sugar or sweeteners added and free from thickeners, preservatives, colourings, and artificial flavours. Coppola? secret? 84% Italian tomatoes; simply good quality Italian tomatoes cooked with fresh ingredients. Coppola Sugo Puttanesca is gluten free certified. Packed in glass jars with BPA free lid. Good to know: Most probably the name of this sauce originates from the Italian word puttanata that means "something not difficult to make" because this sauce has few simple ingredients and is quick and easy to make.

What a disaster. First I tried to cancel the order after waiting several days for them to respond. They said that wouldn't be possible as it was already processed and waiting to be shipped. When my order finally got delivered (by Amazon Logistics) my order was damaged with several items (in glass jars) broken inside and several items missing. Only two-thirds of my order showed up. I had to wait a couple of days for the rest to arrive and when it did some more items were missing.
