Description
Organic red wine vinegar with an appealing cloudy rose-pink colour and a balanced, fruity aroma. Ideal in salad dressings, sauces and marinades. Awarded 1-star Great Taste Award: Organic Red Wine Vinegar was characterised by judges as "a rather special red wine vinegar, appealing in its balance, palatability and interest with a most appealing rose-pink, cloudy colour, and a gently grapey, elusive aroma". Fontana Formiello red wine vinegar is made in made in Naples, in the south of Italy, through the fermentation and the ageing of selected organic Italian grapes. This vinegar is unpasteurised, unfiltered, with no added sulfites, and is rich in live enzymes making up the nutritious "mother". Packed in glass bottles with aluminium cap. Wine vinegar has a very old history in Italy where it has been prized since Roman times for its therapeutic properties and culinary uses.

What a disaster. First I tried to cancel the order after waiting several days for them to respond. They said that wouldn't be possible as it was already processed and waiting to be shipped. When my order finally got delivered (by Amazon Logistics) my order was damaged with several items (in glass jars) broken inside and several items missing. Only two-thirds of my order showed up. I had to wait a couple of days for the rest to arrive and when it did some more items were missing.
