“Thyme IGP de Provence” is a phenolic thyme, with a high carvacrol level compared to other thymes. This makes it a remarkable thyme that is powerful, hot and spicy. It differs from other thyms, which are mostly so-called “sweet” thyms or vegetable thyms with lower aromatic power. Since February 19, 2018, this thyme has obtained a protected geographical indication, highlighting both its aromatic qualities and the know-how of an entire agricultural sector.
