Description
Dabu printing is a perfect example of traditional scientific methods. The technique involves a technique wherein a certain pattern on the fabric is covered with a clay paste using wooden blocks and then the it is dyed in huge tanks. Afterwards, the fabric is washed and the clay is removed, leaving amazing patterns on the fabric. The artisans include men and women who are empowered because of their talent in this craft, therefore giving rise to a huge industry that sustains their livelihoods.
