Her shrine in Aricia was on the shores of them lake Nemi. For that reason, she was named Diana Nemorensis- Diana of the Woods. This sculpture depicts the beloved goddess with her iconic crossbow, as she draws back on the string. She holds her perfect hunter`s form. Her legs are firmly locked and her body forms a line as she locks her eyes on her target.
