Description
This Ukhumba Bowl has a unique hand-felted bowls, gourds and scatter cushions crafted the traditional way by local craftswomen, using all-natural, ethically sourced wool and silk fibres. These out-of-the-ordinary home décor pieces are designed in Cape Town hand-felted, dyed and shaped by women from disadvantaged communities, who are trained in the art of felting at the Woodstock studio. The result is gorgeous felted ukhambas, gourds, bowls and scatter cushions in pure merino, karakul and alpaca wool, with silk fibres for texture and mohair for whimsy, in palettes ranging from soft neutrals to vibrant splashes. Not just beautiful and unusual, Chic Fusion products are also ethical and environmentally friendly.
