Sisal as a raw material is grown on the weavers' fields or in local sisal farms. Then the sisal fibers are dyed 100% plant-based and woven by hand into a work of art. The baskets are finally decorated with leather. The leather is a by-product of local animal husbandry. A weaver works on a basket for about 3 to 5 days. Therefore, the baskets are not mass-produced.
