The Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in the Year 2022 is a milestone for the Queen, the United Kingdom, and the Commonwealth. It marks the 70th anniversary of the Queen’s accession to the throne on February 6, 1952. Queen Elizabeth II is the first British monarch to be honored with a Platinum Jubilee.
