Description
These unique handmade antique reproduction dip pens are a calligrapher's delight. Hand cast in solid pewter then heavily plated in bronze, they warm to the touch as you write, becoming an almost organic extension of your hand. Each pen accepts any standard calligraphy nib and comes fitted with the versatile Leonardt hiro 41nib. Le Potier d'Etain is a 2th generation family of French pewtersmiths in the Lyon region of France. Specializing in hand cast pewter using highly detailed vintage molds, they create future heirlooms in exceptional antique reproduction desk accessories. Papier Plume is the exclusive North American distributor of Le Potier d'Etain.

I discovered Papier Plume in 2015 when I was walking around in New Orleans. I was enthralled with the shop - the gorgeous fountain pens, the hand-made inks, the pen rests, and the knowledge of the owner. To find them here was fantastic. Patrick is very helpful, & my products arrived in perfect condition. They were well-packaged. Everything is quality and I cannot wait to stock it in my store. I will definitely be ordering again!
