Description
Sea foam handmade paper with black letterpress ink. Handmade paper card with four full deckled edges, hand folded with inside blank. Front is letterpress printed; back is letterpress printed with a small note including information about the natural dyes used to color each unique piece of paper. Comes with a textured, harvest white A2 envelope and a small card matte printed with photos and a little information about our process. Card reads "reflecting on the rest and quiet of the darker seasons, the roots reaching deep where no one can see while up here above ground it looks like nothing but loss, the hope of the almost imperceptibly small increases of light that grow into the full warmth of the summer sun winter solstice". Oftentimes I have received cards that I don't save for long, but Farmette is this small business I have followed for years and I have always saved the cards that others have given me from her. something about them just finds a place in a home to cherish forever. Now that we are in the process of opening a brick and mortar, I'm so thankful to be able to carry her beautiful work letter-pressed on soft handmade paper to share with our customers.
