I am a ceramicist and a shop owner, and these pieces are crafted with such attention to detail, love, and beauty that we will be stocking them for a good long time. They are surprisingly wheel thrown given their nearly identical shapes, but the real magic (I think) happens when the juxtaposition of clean clay lines and minimal adornment meets the slight blur from glazing and the precisely applied real gold work. My customers love these almost as much as I do.

The patterns on the surface don't line up like they do in the photos. The little exes look like they are sliding off the surface. The artist explained that this is part of the process, but none of the examples shown have it. She offered to exchange them but can't say if it would happen again.
