FAQ to help you with the ordering process: Where is the soap made? Our soap is 100% handmade in our Glasgow shop using beautiful organic, fresh ingredients. A primary ingredient is glycerin which is deeply nourishing, moisturising and will have your customers coming back for more! A real plus from ordering with us is that we know retail because we have our own shop. This means that we test any new products on our customer base before they ever get to yours so the market has been tested. If our customers love it - we bring it to yours! Camomile & Honey has proven to be a real favourite amongst our customers. We do in our own shop and we recommend it in yours! We love to do a 2 for £12 deal and we found that this created a 40% rise in our soap sales, which is phenomenal! We sell our soaps for exactly the RRP. Will you provide testers? Absolutely! Just send us a message here on Faire if you would a complimentary tester with your order for each scent. Is the soap vegan friendly? This is our only non vegan soap! This is due to the honey. What is the shelf life? On ordering, we immediately begin making your soap which means that you get the full 6 months shelf life on the product. We ship immediately after cutting (which is the next day of making). How much should I order? We would recommend starting with one loaf (12 bars) of each kind of soap and from there you will not only make a beautiful soap stacked display but it gives customers more of a chance to explore and choose. Too much choice has been proven to give "choice fatigue" amongst consumers which is why we only make 6 soap kinds currently. What is your soap fragranced with? We only use premium essential oils at 100% purity, never diluted or with a carrier oil meaning our soap is juicy but remains kind to skin. We never ever use artificial fragrance. All our soap dyes are also made by us from plants and there is not one single artificial ingredient in our fragrances or handmade dyes. How is the soap packaged? Our soap comes in shrink wrap for hygiene purposes (which is translucent and protects the product from dust). The soap is then stamped with "In The Heather" and then our recyclable cardboard sleeve is added, completing the product. Is the soap just for hands or the whole body? Our soap is suitable for use all over the body although most people use it for hands. We personally, as the makers, use our soap exclusively and use everyday for showering and bathing too. Is your clientele in your shop local or tourist based? Our shop is located in the Hidden Lane in Finnieston and we have a large shop front for welcoming customers as well as for making our products in house. In the Summer we have a healthy tourist clientele and the other months of the year we have a local customer base.
