Introducing our Pandora's Box Ex Libris–a must-have for mythology enthusiasts and collectors. This elegant bookplate features an intricate illustration of Pandora, the first human woman in Greek mythology, about to open the box to release all the world's evils. This ex-libris is perfect for marking your books and adding a touch of ancient mystery and intrigue to your collection. Bookplates are crafted on 50# White English Finish Gummed Paper and hand-cut to size. Gummed paper is coated with an adhesive backing that requires water to activate (similar to traditional stamps). Once the adhesive is activated, the paper will adhere to the front pastedown of your book. Bookplates are absolutely gorgeous! As I was inventorying them I sold three of the octopus before I could put them on the floor. They are truly an authentic bookplate that is not a peel and stick sticker. They have a thin layer of glue on the back and you wet them with a tiny sponge and they stick really well and lay perfectly flat. The calendar of women writers sold out in two days and we have reordered already. They're notebooks are super cool too!
