Laurel Canyon in the 1960’s and 1970’s was the Shangri-La for musicians, rock stars and hippies. It was the inspiration behind this design with retro inspired butterflies and florals in vintage tan and orange shades. The back piece is a hand drawn butterfly with guitar elements, stars and fringing. I can't emphasize enough how beautiful these kimonos are! My clients are smitten. Perfect for wearing as a robe over silk PJs, for lunch pairing with tattered jeans and a tee and, for an elegant evening dinner. Don't forget to add a matching bandana scarf on your head.
