Description
A cluster of tagua fragments make up this cool stretchy bracelet. Linked on an elastic band and a bold statement piece for any occasion. All the beads used are sustainable, organic, vegan and biodegradable: 100% vegetable ivory (Tagua seeds). This tagua bracelet is fair trade and ethically handmade in Colombia. Muichic Natural Jewelry is a proud member of the Fair Trade Federation. When ripe, tagua seeds are harvested and dried for 6 to 9 months. After losing all their moisture they become rock solid resembling ivory in color, texture and hardness, hence their nickname: “Vegetable Ivory”. At this point the hard seeds can be polished, dyed, cut and shaped into beautiful beads that become Muichic’s natural jewelry.

I will be a regular, trust me. The hand-written thank-yous add a nice touch. I own an art gallery so these pieces fit right in.

This was my second order. My customers love, love this jewelry. Light weight, colorful, and an example of fair trade at its highest level. I highly recommend them.
