Cedar is a UK brand specialising in bespoke home fragrances and modern aromatherapy. Founded in 2018 by Lizzy, a former schoolteacher turned qualified aromatherapist, Cedar began as a way to create moments of calm through scent—and grew into a studio-based practice dedicated to the power of fragrance to shift mood and mindset. Each scent is crafted by hand in Manchester using essential oils, natural isolates and sustainable materials. From candles to diffuser blends, everything is made with a functional fragrance approach—where the artistry of perfumery meets the science of wellbeing. Cedar candles are vegan-friendly, poured in small batches with a clean-burning rapeseed and coconut wax blend, and packaged plastic-free. A refill scheme supports reuse and sustainability. With stockists across the UK and features in publications like Vogue, Elle and The Guardian, Cedar continues to do what it set out to: make scents that move your mind.
