Excellent EXTRA QUALITY organic chocolate nougat made in the traditional way by master nougat makers from Xixona (Alicante), using ingredients from organic farming and fair trade. This is the nougat commonly known as chocolate nougat that has been made for decades in Xixona using local almonds. In this case, Oxfam Intermón has added the rest of the ingredients from Fair Trade cooperatives so that the result, in addition to being delicious, also has positive effects on all the farmers who contribute their work. The ingredients used in the recipe for these nougats are grown by small producers gathered in cooperatives. The cocoa comes from Bolivia, the unrefined cane sugar from Paraguay and the honey from Argentina, on the other hand, the almonds used come from local organic farming. Specifically, they come from organic almond trees in the town of El Pinós, Alicante.
