About Grandma Kuehnlein's Secret Recipe

Grandma Kuehnlein's Secret Recipe didn't start out as a secret, so much as a mystery. As the story goes, my uncle found Grandma's half-full jar of spices and brought it to his deer-processing shop to use in the “scraps skillet” while he was working with his team. It went over like gang-busters! He got more and more volunteers who wanted to help him process deer, just so they could sneak bits of venison with this magical mix of spices. But the jar started to empty, so he asked his mother what was in it. She said she had no idea. She just dumped mostly empty spice containers into it for soups and stews! He sent it off to be tested. After getting a list of possible spices, he mixed and tweaked and tested batch after batch until he was able to replicate the mysterious jar! As he shared Grandma Kuehnlein’s Secret Recipe with friends and family, they did the same, and its popularity grew. Soon, he was flooded with requests from people who wanted their own jar of Grandma Kuehnlein’s. These new people found more awesome and creative ways to use the spice, too!Read their story
