About Ida & Volta

Ida & Volta redefines luxury by designing silhouettes in pure, exclusively natural materials that are fully traceable to their origin. Our style can be described as "relaxed elegance," occasionally with a touch of androgyny and oversized. Our in-depth research into materials and their impact results in "conscious clothes," made according to the highest ethical standards and each piece is 100% biodegradable. We focus on the revaluation of traditional, local materials such as Belgian linen and Portuguese wool. The designs can be endlessly combined and are independent of trends or gender. We do not follow the traditional rhythm of the fashion industry; instead, we steadily build a permanent collection. We sew in our own studio in Ghent, Belgium, and work with a knitting studio in Antwerp, Belgium.Read their story
