Famous for its ancient olive groves since the 28th century BC, the native Corfiot “Lianolia” olive and more common Peloponnese, Mani and Kalamata “Koroneiki” olives are highly prized for their scent, taste and texture and for producing some of the most exclusive Extra Virgin Olive Oil in the world. Not only is Corfiot Olive Oil seldom sold outside Greece, but genuine, unrefined first pressings of the native Corfiot Lianolia Olive are normally kept just for the local market as only a few hundred or at most a few thousand litres are made by each grower. Single estate, first pressing, pure, fruity, fragrant, with a gentle warm grassy peppery flavour – WiSE TREE OILS are a connoisseur’s dream Wise Tree Oil founders, Paul and his wife Alison, are lifelong Grecophiles and particularly big fans of the magical island of Corfu and having been holidaying on this beautiful green paradise since 1982. In 2006 they bought land and a small olive grove in the North East of Corfu and in 2020 decided to share their passion for Corfu and the unsurpassably smooth and tasty Corfiot Olive Oils by becoming the first distributor to import and sell to these superb and unique products into UK market.
