About Shelley Couvillion

Shelley Couvillion is a professional picture book illustrator who also adores making products. But, ultimately she lives for quiet mornings spent mudlarking and kayaking in the rivers of middle Tennessee with a cold cup of coffee, or snuggled up reading a fantasy novel (preferably one by Terry Pratchett). Though much of her heart still years for the beaches of her childhood in California, she also loves the lush forests of her new home. Shelley is fascinated by fantasy, books, spooky cute things, gardening, pumpkins, ghosts, paranormal podcasts. She loves getting her hands messy so she paints all her designs herself and also does most of the other jobs associated with this brand. (I’m sure you understand all about that.) She’s still shipping out of her home but plans to expand production into a warehouse and employees! (Terrifying!) She's soft, but firm, irreverent and kind, witchy and skeptical, chaotic and organized, both a cat AND a dog person. An extroverted introvert. She’s consistently inconsistent. And so glad our souls are expansive enough to contain multitudes. Her coloring book (WHICH SHE’S SUPER PROUD OF) The Spooky Academy is available in many bookstores big and small. Read their story
