About BOU Studio

Founded in 2023 by visual artist Lucie Le Bouder, BOU STUDIO is a ceramics workshop specializing in the creation of tiles. After about ten years in the contemporary art world, Lucie decided to turn to craftsmanship. The discovery of ceramics in 2020 was a revelation. Thanks to courses in various Parisian workshops and advanced training, notably at Mercier Scalabre Studio, the project to build her own ceramics workshop took shape. In 2023, Lucie set up her workshop in the north of Drôme. She took advantage of this first year of establishment to experiment and conduct research on useful decorative objects and stoneware tiles. Today in Marseille, she is in residence at Ateliers Jeanne Barret.Read their story
