Born in Japan. Raised in California. nijiri is a Japanese tea brand rooted in tradition and designed for modern lifestyles. We began our journey in 2023 and officially launched in Los Angeles in 2024. Today, our teas are featured in curated lifestyle and grocery stores across Los Angeles and San Francisco. Our signature is Kamairicha, a rare pan-fired green tea that accounts for only a few percent of total tea production in Japan. Its toasty aroma and clean finish make it a versatile, gentle tea—perfect for both hot and iced preparations. But nijiri is more than just tea. It's a quiet moment to reset. A subtle switch that helps you reconnect with yourself and move forward. The name “nijiri” is inspired by the nijiriguchi—a small entrance to traditional Japanese tea rooms that requires one to bow and enter slowly, leaving the noise of daily life behind. nijiri seeks to offer that same sense of mindful entry—into calm, presence, and enjoyment.
