Donna De Tata, the founder of Auntie Tats’s Candle Shoppe, is driven by a passion to bring love, light, and happiness into people’s lives. Recognizing the power of candles to create ambiance, evoke memories, and provide moments of peace, she set out to craft products that were clean-burning, phthalate free, and more than functional—they were experiences. Donna began her journey experimenting with natural wax blends and phthalate free fragrance oils, to create clean-burning, elegant candles. She chose elegant black matte vessels with wooden wicks for their soothing crackle and paired them with thoughtfully designed scents, each telling its own story. From the calming embrace of "Lavender Dreams" to the sweetness of "Sweet Comfort," her candles became vessels of comfort and joy. In 2023, Donna launched Auntie Tats’s Candle Shoppe with the mission of “Spreading Love and Light, One Candle at a Time.” Her dedication to quality, elegance, and meaningful design quickly turned the shop into a beloved community staple. Today, Donna continues to lead her business with the same passion and dedication that started it all. Every candle she pours is a reflection of her belief that even the smallest flicker of light can bring warmth and happiness to someone’s life.
