The blends on the market either lacked in flavour and boldness or, were stuffed with sugar and additives, lacking authenticity We fell in love with creating the flavours of a traditional Masala Chai ourselves and, together we’d spend hours obsessing over a new flavours and experimenting with delicious ingredients to create interesting concoctions. Uniting our creativity, family recipes, travels and our mission to quench Pratima’s thirst, we launched our Chhabra Chai product range. Since 2018, we have been doing countless rounds of tastings, events, markets, pitches and shop tastings to refine our recipes. We pride our blends on being the perfect ratio of natural ingredients. Interestingly, our 4 Spice Hot Chocolate pays homage to Co-Founder Casey’s Caribbean heritage as we experimented with her family’s traditional Cocoa Tea recipe. 4 years on, our love for creating flavours that balance punchy ingredients has grown bigger and stronger.
