TheHomebirdsWeavingShed is a home accessories & lifestyle brand crafting, creating & curating fibre inspired, bohemian style products with a modern edge, earthy tones & rustic textures The business officially began in 2017 after many years of crafting and creative pursuits The intention was to create woven fibre art & home decor so that I could continue with my love of constructed fabrics & utilise the skills built during my time at Manchester Metropolitan University where I gained at BA Honours in Textiles This has since grown & I have discovered that my passions strongly lie within the materials themselves & in a variety of craft disciplines which I now use when designing, creating & selecting products I like to stay true to my roots & use yarn as much as possible …. combined with other materials & different techniques this results in a rustic, bohemian vibe with a modern tone Everything I create is based on the core idea that it should either be made to be meaningful, made to have a purpose or made to keep The brand values follow a strong sense of self & centre around feeling comfortable, creating peace, maintaining balance and staying present At the end of the day my hope is that you create a space that is unapologetically & authentically you …. your sanctuary …. your place to call home Read their story
