Kahani means story and Dor is the Hindi word for thread. We are a sustainable and ethical lifestyle brand committed to reviving handicraft in rural India and by doing so offer a chance for families to make a dignified living, stay together in their native villages and pass the craft on to the next generation. By working with traditional spinning, weaving and printing techniques, we create a unique, high-quality natural fabric while preserving the environment. Our products are then designed and produced in collaboration with fair trade certified small factories, family-run workshops or women's empowerment programs in India.
